A. Business Directory

1. All requests for Business Directory listings are accepted at the sole discretion of Vellore Pages. Vellore Pages reserves the right to accept or reject any listing without providing any reason for the same.
2. Listings as requested will be placed in the category/categories opted for. All additional categories opted for will carry the same listing material as the main category.
3. Listings are valid for 1 year from the date of displaying on the website. At the completion of 1 year, the listing will become Inactive and will not be displayed unless it is renewed.
4. There are two types of listings, viz., Basic listing and Premium listing. Basic listings will only carry the listing material without any highlighting, except for Company or Business name being in bold. Premium listings will have a special background to highlight it. Premium listings will also have a Profile page where the company profile may be briefly outlined.
5. Since many listings will be available in each category, the position of the listing will be determined by an open bidding system.

Every listing will have a minimum bid amount of Rs.1/- and the maximum is unlimited.

The listing with the highest bid amount for the category will be displayed first and then the rest of the listings in descending order of bid amount.

If there are multiple listings with the same bid amount, the listing that was placed first will be displayed first, and the rest in chronological order.

Bid amount can be enhanced any time during the duration of the validity of the listing. The enhancement of bid will be valid for 1 year from the date of enhancement, provided the listing is active. If the listing becomes inactive, the bid amount will be forfeited.

The position of the listing as will be displayed will be as per the current bid amount, not the initial bid amount.

1. Listing of Illegal, Sexually explicit or objectionable material in the listing or in the Profile page is prohibited.
2. Listings will be updated upon request on payment of the respective charges.
3. Payment: Payments have to be made 100% in advance. Listings will be published only on clearance of payment.
4. Refunds: No refunds will be made under any circumstances, and no claims for refunds will be entertained for any reason.
5. Monthly statistics of page views in the categories opted for will be sent by email only. No hard copy will be provided.
6. Clients interested in placing Image ads on the pages can do so by creating an Ad Fund by paying the amount intended for advertising expenditure. The ads are charged on Pay per View and Pay per Click basis, and will be placed on rotation. The charges for the same will be debited to the Ad fund. Once the Ad Fund is exhausted, the ad will cease to be displayed, and intimation will be sent to the advertiser, along with an email list of page view and click details.

B. Image Ads

1. All requests for placement of Image Ads are accepted at the sole discretion of Vellore Pages. Vellore Pages reserves the right to accept or reject any ads without providing any reason for the same.
2. Listings as requested will be placed in the page(s) opted for. All additional pages opted for will carry the same listing material as the main page.
3. Display of Illegal, Sexually explicit or objectionable material in the ad or the link is prohibited.

 

C. General Terms

1. Vellore Pages reserves the right to use advertising material provided by third parties, such as context sensitive ads, on any or all of the pages on the website.
2. Vellore Pages reserves the right to add or delete any advertising information as is present on the website.
3. For the purpose of link tracking, Vellore pages may route link requests through the Vellore Pages servers.
4. Vellore Pages will not disclose Email IDs of any client to any third parties. Even all emails sent form the site will be sent using our own SafeEmail procedure to hide the email ID.
5. We do NOT spam.
6. All grievances will be subject to Vellore jurisdiction only.
7. RSS feeds if any used on the site are the property of the concerned parties. The use of the feeds is for the sole purpose of providing up-to-date information.
